Subject: [PATCH 0/4][RFC] Paravirtual Framebuffer/Keyboard
Date: Sun, 15 Jan 2006 17:39:59 -0600	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <43CADD4F.4060601@us.ibm.com> (raw)

The following patch series is a paravirtual framebuffer and keyboard.
I've been developing it over the past month or so and have kept a wiki
page[1] relatively up to date with the progress and future plans.

It currently enables an 800x600 virtual framebuffer that is exposed via
vnc. The keyboard and mouse appear to work just fine and X can be
started if appropriately configured.

Please don't apply these patches to the tree just yet. There are still
a number of minor cosmetic issues I'd like to fix first (there is some
ugliness in the builder/resume paths for instance). I wanted to get the
code out there is a digestable form though before the summit.

You'll also need the vncfb app[2]. When I submit these again for
inclusion I'll make it part of the patches but for now it's a separate
hg repository.
