Subject: GRUB failing with Xen Live CD
Date: Fri, 20 Jan 2006 12:02:16 +1100	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <43D03698.2040403@yahoo.com.au> (raw)

Hi folks,

I'm trying to get the Xen Live CD working on my Acer laptop, but it
drops out at the "grub>" prompt, and I am unable to go further.

I raised a Xen bug about it:
http://bugzilla.xensource.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=464

Short version: the CD burn is good (works in other hardware, and under
QEMU); the hardware is good (able to access the CD, run the CD under
QEMU). I wonder if it's a GRUB issue.

How might I debug / investigate the GRUB issues further?

Should I raise a bug against GRUB?

TIA,

Tony Lewis
