Subject: Newbie question to period/buffer/tick time
Date: Thu, 26 Jan 2006 18:32:37 +0100	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <43D907B5.3020002@gmx.de> (raw)

Hi all!

I have some simple newbie questions:
How will be the period/buffer/tick time calculated?
How depends it on the other values?
What exactly means period and tick in ALSA?
And last but not least, where can I found the document where all this is
explained? :-)

Cheers,

Timo
