Hi,

I have a problem when connecting ssh to the virtual machine with
-unstable  (8758:57e6d7218427).  It seems the reason is PTY options
are not turned on in xenU's .config file
(buildconfigs/{linux-defconfig_xenU_x86_32,linux-defconfig_xenU_x86_32}).
And I don't see the "Device Drivers/Character devices" menu in xenU
configuration?

Ouch, that patch was available on Jan 18, but still not checked in yet??

I applied that patch, and recompile xenU/0 kernels. But then I got the
error like below when I started xenU  (meanwhile xen0 boots fine):

A working fix is now in the unstable repository now (well, it'll get  
pushed to the public repository later today I expect).

Okay, it seem's to work for me now... thanks alot... :))

But there seems to be some strange things happen to IPv6 packets passing 
through a bridged network. Using xen-unstable checked out last friday 
it's working, but using the actual changeset it doesn't... any suggestions?

Thoses configs options should be off on domU to work AFAIR.
but it's doesn't matter anymore now, just use unstable.

Hello,
We are trying to create clones of VMs at specified time intervals. To achieve
this , we use the method of stopping the running process, creating a clone and
then restarting the process. We were wondering if anybody could provide
pointers as to what would NOT be suitable breakpoints to use here, for 
e.g. one
we could think of was interrupting a hypervisor call. Also, if we skip 
over such
calls/instructions, what notion of time should we use in the process we are
cloning. Would clock interrupts or counting the number of system calls made by
the process be a good idea to keep track of the time interval in the cloned
process?
