List-Post: List-Help: List-Subscribe: , List-Archive: The directories named in /etc/exports, exported (ro, sync), are randomly having their uid,gid changed to 0,0. This appears to happen contemporaneously for all directories that were previously not owned by root (the ctime's match), but I can't seem to pin down what event, if any, on the nfs clients triggers the ownership change. This is with a 2.6 kernel, doesn't happen with 2.4 kernel. $ uname -a Linux mcf-ws.localnet 2.6.11-6mdk #1 Tue Mar 22 16:04:32 CET 2005 i686 Intel(R)Pentium(R) 4 CPU 2.40GHz unknown GNU/Linux I'd sure appreciate any help with tracking down this problem - I haven't a clue where to start.
