I wish to address the recent less-than-helpful messages hitting the 
Linux-8086 mailing list.

DO NOT SEND FURTHER OFF-TOPIC OR PERSONAL MESSAGES TO THIS LIST, PERIOD.

This list is for the discussion of ELKS project topics ONLY.

Recent list contributions regarding English language gripes do not 
belong and are not welcome on this mailing list.  All communication that 
is not of significant interest to ELKS developers, users, and 
contributors should be sent to the person in question directly without 
including the Linux-8086 list.  Messages that are not directly related 
to ELKS itself also do not belong on this list.

To put it another way, if your mail does not contribute to ELKS or ask a 
question about ELKS itself, communicate outside of this list.  You are 
effectively "tainting" the list with flames and reducing the quality of 
discussion by sending non-contributing messages to the Linux-8086 
mailing list.

In summary, please be considerate of others that receive this mailing 
list and keep personal issues and conversations in a private medium.  If 
you have contributing material, send away, please!  If you have a 
question, send send send!  If you have a complaint, I suggest keeping it 
quiet and on a professional level, away from the list.
