The setmask utility is used to change the tracing mask, which is used to limit the events that generate trace records. It is optional.


I'd love to see someone at least rename or ideally remove the need for
the setmask and setsize utilities...

Please could someone look into this.

I'll add it to the list of things to do to xenmon.
