jfyi:
qcow2 is also working with FreeBSD guests. Sorry for the wrong alarm. I
got two independend qcow2 FreeBSD images (FreeBSD 6.1 and Gentoo/FreeBSD
6.1) which both(!?) were corrupted.
Just copied the data to new disk files, installed the bootloader and
voila.. it's working (also resuming).
