Hi Guys,

I'm encountering a problem with I2C address. I'm not
sure where to find the address of the I2C adapter that
I connected. When I ran my application that connects
to I2C-dev I am encountering Remote I/O error. Is
there any good samaritan that could tell me whats
wrong? Is there a specification on how I2C does
things? I hope to hear from you guys. Please be
patient on me. I'm quite new to this. Thank you very
much.

Regards,
OJ

Hi Guys,

Could anyone help? I dont whats wrong with what Im
doing. I really desperate, that I need any help that
you could give. I am exploring I2C and I can not find
any sensors on /proc/sys/dev/ and /proc/bus/I2C. And
another thing is there anyone that could help me find
another sensor that I could test I2C with my omap
opensource kernel? Anything that could bring me back
to the right track would be greatly appreciated. I am
writing/reading to my I2C device right now but I am
encountering problems. If I cat /dev/i2c-0 I am
encountering Remote I/O error. But I can write a
maximum of bytes only. Anyone knows anything? Thank
you in advance

Regards,
OJ
PS.
Im sorry guys but I think I need to post this to both
list. Thanks.

Hello,

Sorry this does not belong to hwmon mailing list. Please stop sending your
offtopic mails here in the rate of couple of mails on same topic IN SAME DAY!!!!

We are NOT paid support! We are doing that in our free time. Do not waste our
resources, such as with writing this mail.

Thank you,

Regards
Rudolf
