Novell uses domUloader instead of pygrub.  libreiserfs (or maybe just
the pygrub module?) doesn't support reading filesystems with a non-zero
offset.  If you use whole-disk images with a partition table for your
virtual machines, then pygrub can't boot from a reiserfs partition.

Oh, and btw, I think the current bootloader approach fails if you use
blktab disks with file formats other than raw (for both domUloader and
pygrub).
