Try to turn this off. I would be interested in the difference on your boxes (a few micros should be noticeable on the slower one). I don't know if RTAI has comparable accounting. If yes, check if it's off as well to keep the conditions fair. I guess CONFIG_REGPARM is not enabled for RTAI then (LXRT should break, right?).
