Message-ID: <45618D2E.5090307@arrakis.es> (raw)

Hello,

Using: Slackware 10.2; Gware 2.2.13; Xorg 6.8.2; sis_drv 6.8.2, mplayer
1.0, xawtv 3.95.

After using mplayer, I can't get a picture with xawtv. It's just black,
though sound is fine and I can change channels, etc. If I su to any
other user I have no problems. If I log out and in again also.

I used to get an error message saying
v4l-conf had some trouble, trying to continue anyway
v4l2: WARNING: framebuffer base address mismatch

I found a suggested remedy by Googling and tried it out. The only thing
that has changed is I no longer get the second line of this message. The
actual error persists.

TIA,

Andrew
