Subject: [Bluez-users] Shopping advice: bluetooth 2.0 USB dongle with CSR chipset?
Date: Mon, 12 Feb 2007 11:20:14 +0100 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <45D03F5E.8040009@yahoo.com.au> (raw)
Hi,
I'm looking for a Bluetooth 2.0 USB dongle, preferably Class 1. But I
really want it to be a CSR chipset, because I want the "HID proxy"
feature (http://times.usefulinc.com/2004/06/12-hidproxy). I've found a
couple of likely-looking devices, but finding out what chipset they are
is really hard:
http://www.aiptek.com.tw/english/product/bluetooth/bluetooth_usb_dongle.htm
http://catalog.belkin.com/IWCatProductPage.process?Product_Id=273100
Does anyone know how I can be reasonably sure what chipset I'm getting
before I buy? Or maybe someone has a suitable device and can verify the
chipset for me?
Thanks for any help,
Mat
