Subject: [Xenomai-help] [OT] monitoring vertical retrace for multi-head setup?

Hi all,
Is there anyone on the list working in linguistic, vision or phonetics
research using xenomai, rtai or rtlinux in their experiment applications?
I particularly like to know if anyone has tackled the problem of monitoring
vertical retrace in multi-headed setups. For single head setup it is not
a problem, but so far I haven't found any information on how to do it
(in software) for a multi-head (dual or quad) setup. I suppose it is
vendor and board specific. The only solution I can come up with now is
feeding the VGA vertical sync signal (directly or through a circuit) into
the parallel port and monitor that, but I'd prefer a cleaner solution.
Any ideas.
Thanks,
Theo
