I received the DVD from Chris Lee with a test conversion of KDE's
Subversion repository to git.

I have uploaded it to:

http://userweb.kernel.org/~hpa/kdegit/

It's available both as a tarball and as an expanded tree.

P.S. I still want Kcharselect to display the Unicode names of the
characters.
