I cannot even truly love myself or my own family, yet. That your family held the "dirty secret" from you was likely partially due to embarrassment and ignoring the rhinocerous in the living room. The whole family and generations to come including yourself are poisoned prior to entrance even in the womb of your Momma. My Momma is a schizophrenic and my Dad has mental issues from killing in Korea. I do not know how you can pay attention to the numerous comments that have been sent to you. If it is, I learn to deal with it, if it isn't I need to stay away at that point. Out negative emotions "weigh" us down. My mom took my dad to court for child support when I was sixteen and a freshman in high school. My life is much better today because of our relationship. I must have missed it and I am curious!
