Subject: [Xenomai-help] laptop recommendation?
Date: Wed, 05 Sep 2007 08:43:32 +0200	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <46DE5014.3020404@domain.hid> (raw)

Hi,

Can anyone recommend a particular laptop model that works well with
Xenomai (no SMI trouble etc). We had two old but nice Toshiba laptops
but they were stolen recently, and my experiences with two different
new models from HP weren't particularly good (partly due to buggy BIOS).
For some project (eye-tracking) we want/need to by a Fujisu-Siemens
S7110, so I thought it would be nice if I could replace the stolen
ones with that model too. Any experience with it?

Another question. Does anyone have experience with the SPP-100
PCMCIA parallel port from Quatech, or perhaps some ExpressCard
parallel port that works well with Xenomai Linux?

Thanks

Theo
