Hello

I'm tracing Nouveau progress since the very beginning.

I own:

01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: nVidia Corporation GeForce 8600 GT
(rev a1) (prog-if 00 [VGA])
Subsystem: Giga-byte Technology Unknown device 3452
Flags: bus master, fast devsel, latency 0, IRQ 16
        Memory at f6000000 (32-bit, non-prefetchable) [size=16M]
        Memory at e0000000 (64-bit, prefetchable) [size=256M]
        Memory at f4000000 (64-bit, non-prefetchable) [size=32M]
        I/O ports at a000 [disabled] [size=128]
[virtual] Expansion ROM at f7000000 [disabled] [size=128K]
Capabilities: [60] Power Management version 2
Capabilities: [68] Message Signalled Interrupts: Mask- 64bit+
Queue=0/0 Enable-
Capabilities: [78] Express Endpoint IRQ 0

Atm. I'm willing to do any test that will not break my OS (that means:
with current nvidia binary drivers). I'll have some time to fiddle with
it in December, so I'll install test environment just for Nouveau (btw.
should I go with 32 or 64 bit environment (concerning nouveau testing)?).

I have also other non-nvidia non-video hardware (tv tuner card, 4 core
CPU), but I don't know if it may be valuable for Nouveau testing. (I
also plan to have 6GB of RAM sometime next year).
