I've upgraded to the latest BIOS (v1.19). Ubuntu is mostly working, although sound only works through headphones, and some types of memory card aren't detected properly. I haven't tested everything yet. After selecting the standard kernel from the Grub menu, I get the following error messages: BIOS BUG #81[00000000] found Cannot allocate resource region 7 of bridge 0000:00:04.0 Cannot allocate resource region 5 of device 0000:03:00.0 Failed to allocate mem resource #6:20000@00000000 for 0000:03:00.0 The first of those message goes away if I use 'pci=conf1'. The other three are unaffected by 'noacpi' or 'acpi_osi=!Linux'. As requested, I've attached dmidecode output, as well as that from dmesg and lspci -vvv. The second dmesg file is the output when using 'acpi_osi=!Linux' as suggested. I hope this information is helpful for future kernel development.
