Subject: Looking for descriptions of modules

Hello I am looking for a place or places where I can get descriptions of
all the modules used by iptables. There seems to be little or no info
on this subject. I am looking to find the purpose, scope and definition
of each of the modules. I am planning on using this for self
understanding and to put up a site that makes this info available to
all. Any help in this matter will be greatly appreciated.
