Hi,
I check in <http://linux-ata.org/shutdown.html> that when "shutdown
utility" is updated to do a correct spin down, is recommended warning
this list about this (to include on list of distros with updated shutdown).
Debian Lenny (testing) have this problem fixed[1] and Etch_And_A_Half[2]
too.
