Ok. Could you try something else:
in the function gatekeeper_thread, could you replace:
if (xnthread_user_task(thread)->state == TASK_INTERRUPTIBLE) {
with
if (xnthread_user_task(thread)->state == TASK_INTERRUPTIBLE |
TASK_ATOMICSWITCH) {
Or comment out the if and the closing brace ?
