Subject: > 4 vCPUs?

Message-ID: <48B27826.40809@sgi.com> (raw)

Hi,

I modified KVM and Qemu to allow for more than 4 vCPUs on ia64, however
it doesn't work quite as expected. It boots, but seems to hang in
certain userspace applications, udev in particular.

It's almost like interrupts and/or timers are not being scheduled on the
additional CPUs?

Anyone tried this or have any ideas why this isn't working?

Thanks,
Jes
