Subject: [linux-dvb] KNC1 TVStar DVB-S & S2-3200?
Date: Tue, 02 Sep 2008 10:10:12 +0200	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <48BCF4E4.9070301@kipdola.com> (raw)

Hi everyone,

I was wondering if I could run my S2-3200 card besides a KNC1 TVStar
DVB-S card.

Since the S2-3200 still won't work properly under mythtv, and I need a
few more tuners at least, I thought it wouldn't be such a bad idea to go
with this cheap DVB-S card which I KNOW is supported.

But the biggest question is: if I install multiproto, will the KNC1 card
be recognised? Or do I have to choose between cards?

I know the KNC1 card doesn't have a CI extension, I'd primarily use the
S2-3200 for that, and use the KNC1 card for Astra 2 and such.

Kind regards,

Jelle De Loecker
