I forgot to "hciconfig hci0 down", that's why I had to reboot.

I suppose that I have to repair my headset (though bluetoothd doesn't say this)
to get it to work with this new dongle. Time to install bluez-gnome-1.8. I had
to use bluetooth-wizard to pair with the device. Running aplay did not make
bluetooth-applet open and ask me to pair (even though I had the headset in
pairing mode).
My Jabra JX10 Series II headset now works. It even works with the VoIP
client twinkle http://www.twinklephone.com/.

I hope that the quirk will make it into 2.6.27.
