This was sent to the OPenICC list earlier today. Since this is of interest to
those involved in printing I decided to forward it. Once the changes layed
out in the document are in place in GhostScript it should be fairly straight
forward to implement color management in the new PDF printing work flow.

Quite some time ago, I promised to share a document on my plan to update
Ghostscript's color management. Sorry it has taken so long to get this to
you. I have been sidetracked working on several issues in the transparency
code.

Ralph Giles and I will be at ICC DevCon08 in Portland. I hope to meet you

Great, thank you very much for forwarding this.
If that all makes it into GPL Ghostscript 8.64 (release in Februray)
then we will get Color Management on the printing system level quickly.
