Hi Bill,

Justin's having trouble with the Raptor (10,000 RPM) models.

I have been running md RAID on > 50 WD RE/RE2/RE3 7200 500/750GB for 
some years now without trouble.

Justin, have you tried contacting WD support via email? I had good 
technically knowledgable support from them  a while back.
