I think this must use a bit more power and my laptop must have been marginal. Anyway, read on the web that a possible solution was to remove the battery. Did this and I have been running for a couple of hours with no problems. I even have my NX session running to control another machine which is also wireless. So the wireless is working great and the response time is instantaneous. The other thing that has changed is that the adapter LEDs are now flashing, they were on solid before. Brian
