thanks for that
the box says:
WinTV-NOVA-T-500
model 289

and the board says:

with the markings on the tuner can:
WinTV-NOVA-TD-500
DVB-T
84109 LF
REV D1F4
o hopefully i am ok
will install it tomorrow and report back
by the way, what do JP1 and JP2 do?
