Hi Alexey,
thank you very much for your help.
I can confirm, that the patch in #63 works with 2530p as well. Now the
kernel boots without any special acpi parameter.
Only regression I now see with full ACPI turned on, is that I can't dim
the display anymore.
Will this patch go into 2.6.29?
