Subject: [linux-dvb] pctv 800i almost working.
Date: Fri, 02 Jan 2009 12:23:08 -0700	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <495E699C.10002@mho.com> (raw)

Hi

I tried to get my pctv 800i card working on Ubuntu 8.04. But after
reading that the best solution was to install a new generic kernel, I
decided to wait until Intrepid (8.10) came out. After installing 8.10,
I loaded the firmware as recommended on mythtv wiki and was excited to
see a sharp analogue picture. But, no audio. Audio works on all other
applications. Knowing what to try to fix it is well beyond my linux
knowledge. I figured there are many tuner experts on this list that
might help. No help from mythtv or ubuntu lists.

What's with the three occurrences of cx88 on 17?

Anything I can try?
