Do you mean kernel.org vanilla 2.6.27.x or
http://xenbits.xensource.com/ext/linux-2.6.27-xen.hg ?
Vanilla 2.6.27 is making the same error message and crash and that
(Novells?) patched 2.6.27 I don't seem to get compile properly
