Now running in RAM - U-Boot at: 00fdc000

That was it, the CFG_MONITOR_BASE was wrong.  Might I
suggest to add a 'Check your
text_base/cfg_monitor_base/cfg_flash_base' to the
relocate faq? That would have saved me two days of
banging on the poor sdram.
