Hi all.
It's official and some of you may have missed the latest patches hrw and
me have submitted, so this post may be considered the official ML
release :-)
Italian embedded software engineering KOAN, announced its main brand
KaeilOS will join OpenEmbedded (OE) project.
We at KOAN wanted to avoid waste of energy converging KOAN efforts into
a stable and solid Open Source project like OE is. In the future, KOAN
will cooperate with OpenEmbedded community and will work to
progressively reduce OE footprint and boot time with KaeilOS
distribution (with mdev instead of udev for example).
KaeilOS is already included among OpenEmbedded based distributions and
is available for download from OpenEmbedded git repository.
I hope this initiative could improve OE spread and that somone would
like to join our distribution like some of OE developers already are
doing ;-)
Cordiali Saluti / Kindest Regards / mit freundlichen Grüssen
