I mentioned the specific case mainly to show that it was a problem that
I was actually running into (rather than a theoretical problem), and
thus is a candidate for the imminent release.
For "next", a more comprehensive review of mappings is in order. For
example, the flash mapping shouldn't be cacheable -- it's fine for
normal data access, but it could cause problems when programming the flash.
