Sorry, should have noted that the documentation, such as it is (but more 
than Mini-OS), is in the "docs" subdirectory, or at 
http://research.sun.com/projects/guestvm/shared/guk/index.html

Fundamentally, it's not much more memory intensive or different in 
startup time from Mini-OS.
