Subject: [PATCH] 0 of 5: secondary consoles for pv guests
Date: Thu, 11 Jun 2009 16:07:44 +0100 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <4A311DC0.7020408@eu.citrix.com> (raw)
Hi all,
this patch series implements optional secondary consoles for pv guests.
This is useful for stubdoms because the first one is used for logging so
a second one can be used to emulate the serial in the guest.
The secondary consoles are setup using the typical frontend\backend
protocol, while the primary console remains different in that regard
since it uses informations in the shared info page.
I also added a new command line to xenconsole to be able to connect to
secondary consoles as well.
The first three patches are for xen, the last two for qemu.
Cheers,
Stefano Stabellini
