The IO is driven by ethernet :-)        so if it were real time....
We are now simulating real time ( on a live system ) on  a functional basis,
My guest system programs the int0 to go at 1000 Hz, that is why I wonder 
if the used host system config matters.

by real-life system nowadays is an ATOM based cpu board...
