Hope this is useful as a test case:
Sucessful build of grub2 on Apple Mac OS X
Grub version: SVN 2364
Model: Imac 8,1
OS: Mac OS X 10.5.7
Boot ROM Version: IM81.00C1.B00
Xcode: 3.1.3
Target: efi, 64 bit version
Resulting efi grub works to boot MacOSX
Caveat: configure gave warning about objconv. Needed to download and
compile objconv from http://www.agner.org/optimize/ (use g++ line in
README and install reulting objconv to /usr/bin). Is there an Apple
equivalent of objconv???
