Subject: [Qemu-devel] User emulation
Date: Tue, 22 Sep 2009 09:32:27 -0600 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <4AB8EE0B.2070608@mlbassoc.com> (raw)
I'm trying to use i386-linux-user to run a [somewhat large
and complex] X/Qt program. It nearly works, which is to say
that much of it does work, but there are problems. As one
might expect, the problems are subtle and not so easy to
isolate/identify.
Of course, I don't have access to the sources for this program
(hence the desire to emulate it), so I'm looking for ideas as
to how I might figure out what's gone wrong, where, etc.
Any clues would be most helpful.
n.b. I've tried running this on a number of different hosts
(x86, arm, ppc) and the results are the same.
Also, I had to add the NTPL patches from Ulrich Hecht. This
got me started, but it may also be related to my issues.
Thanks
