I have the same problem as Zdenek.
After reading your mail, I've downloaded the kernel 2.6.32.3 (where this 
patch is applied), but the problem still occurs.
I have lenovo t61 thinkpad just like Zdenek,  problem occurs while 
trying to put the computer in to sleep mode.
