Subject: Use of HDS722020ALA330 with MDADM
Date: Wed, 21 Apr 2010 18:09:21 -0400 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <4BCF7791.2000808@gmail.com> (raw)
I am new to Hatachi Data Storage, met recently with a rep from BlueArc
high performance storage systems. They spoke very highly of their use of
Hatachi technology. I know there is quite a non-linear translation
between quality of enterprise level products and consumer products.
Recently picked up eight of the HDS722020ALA330 drives.
Does anybody have experience with these drives? I have built several
arrays from the WD1001FALS but wanted to increase my density.
I couldn't find any resource on firmware updates or modification of
things like ERC on these drives.
