Oh, I assumed your server was a Linux box with pppd etc. If not, we
won't be able to help you with server config here.

Perhaps you mean PPPoE over an RFC1483 bridged encap ATM link? And now
you're trying to get PPP working over a VC-muxed ATM connection.
