Subject: [ath9k-devel] ath9k Monitor mode

Message-ID: <4C765C78.3050804@berkeley.edu> (raw)
I'm trying to use the ath9k in monitor mode, but how it seems to work is
that it doesn't capture all the data traffic from other networks in
addition to control traffic and the internal traffic.
Can any one tell me if it is possible to put the radio in fully enabled
promiscuous mode? The Madwifi monitor mode enables you to capture all
the traffic and I was wondering if ath9k is different?
Thanks,
Arash
