There are two possible causes of this. Either you created a new mail, and pasted in the subject and quotation from the other, or your mail client, which appears to be Yahoo web mail, is broken. If it was the former, then please don't do that; use the reply function instead. If you did use reply, then Yahoo needs contacted about fixing their broken mail client.
