I understand your concern, but I think the changes required are simply
too invasive at this point. There's also the possibility that after
doing all the work for CDMA we might find that it is incompatible with
the rest of smsutil. I prefer not to take this risk right now.
Besides, I think you will find that transforming the data structures
from my proposal to your original proposal at a later date will not be
that much work. If we have proper unit tests in place it should take no
more than an afternoon...
