Then it means, as I tried to explain in the link I posted, that Xenomai SMI workaround code does not support your chipset. But adding it should be really easy. And yes, legacy usb is based on SMIs. But as far as I know, it is something for keyboards and mice (emulating PS/2 peripherals using USB peripherals). It should not prevent you from booting from an USB key. -- Gilles.
