Subject: Bad URL passed to RA layer
Date: Tue, 02 Nov 2010 17:12:28 -0300	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <4CD070AC.8030600@cs.dal.ca> (raw)

Hello,

My git-svn apparently doesn't understand https URLs after installing
perl Alien::SVN:

mike@binnie:~$ git svn clone --username=doherty
https://svn.cs.dal.ca/doherty
Initialized empty Git repository in /home/mike/doherty/.git/
Bad URL passed to RA layer: Unrecognized URL scheme for
'https://svn.cs.dal.ca/doherty' at /usr/lib/git-core/git-svn line 1774

I searched for others having this issue, and did find some results,
however I didn't find any solution. Can this mailing list offer some advice?

Thanks,
-Mike
