Nevertheless, these things are based on architectures which are not 10years old, some of them even are 64 bits. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pentium_Dual_Core So, CONFIG_MCORE or CONFIG_MCORE2 is still more apropriate than CONFIG_M686. -- Gilles.
