Just use a queue for both pointer and keyboard -- problem solved ;)

Need a test case?  Connect with vncviewer, press F8, pick "Send 
Ctrl-Alt-Del" from the menu.  Works with ps/2 keyboard.  Doesn't work 
with usb keyboard.
